Series of Virtual Consultations on the Arms Trade Treaty

"Transparency & Reporting”: The second consultation of the series focused on the perspectives of reporting obligations and participation in the ATT process with the aim to develop a strategy to address the issue of transparency.

ATT reporting trends continue to veer toward confidentiality rather than transparency. At the same time, meetings and processes, originally designed to foster multi-stakeholder engagement, are now closing their doors to all but States Parties.
