Christopher Forst
Christopher Forst has served as the Interim Director of FES Geneva since August 2026. Since joining FES in 2016, he has worked in Eastern Europe, West Africa, and the foundation's headquarters in Berlin.
Ira Gibson
Ira Gibson became Program Officer at FES Geneva in 2019, after joining in 2016. She holds a Master’s Degree in Latin American Studies from the University of Cologne (Germany) and a postgraduate degree in Sustainable Development Cooperation at the University of Kaiserslautern, Germany.
Jonas Becker
Jonas Becker holds a Master's Degree in Economics and a Master’s Degree in Public Policy from the Westfälische-Wilhelms Universität Münster (Germany). After working for a German trade union and the German Trade Union Confederation, he joined the FES Geneva office in 2026.
Lisa Müller-Dormann
Lisa Müller-Dormann holds a dual Master’s Degree in International Relations from Sciences Po, Paris and Columbia University, New York. After working with NGOs, the UN and governments on peace and security for 8 years, she manages the Arms Control portfolio at FES since May 2026.
Matthias Pesch
Matthias Pesch holds a Master’s Degree in Political Science from the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms University of Bonn (Germany). He gained experiences working for several civil society actors in the field of Development Policy and the United Nations in Germany before joining FES Geneva in 2019.
Claudia Manns
Claudia Manns holds a Master's Degree in art history, history and media science from the Philipps-University of Marburg (Germany) and the University of Cagliari (Italy). She joined FES Geneva as Office Manager in 2013 where she is responsible for all administrative, financial and IT matters.
Anja Stelzer
Anja Stelzer holds a Master’s Degree in International Relations from NMBU (Norway). She gained experience in project management, stakeholder engagement and event organisation before joining FES Geneva in 2026.
Elena Müller
Elena Müller holds a Master’s Degree in English Literature from the University of Zurich (Switzerland) and a Master’s degree in Human Rights & Democratization from the University of Padova (Italy). She gained experience in project management and communications before joining FES Geneva in 2025.
Sabine Dörfler
Sabine Dörfler holds a Master's Degree in Applied Linguistics in Spanish and Portuguese. She studied Latin American studies, political science & linguistics in Berlin, Germersheim (Germany) and Rio de Janeiro. After various positions at FES Berlin and Santiago de Chile she joined FES Geneva in 2022.
