Event Trade and Development 2019 Digital Trade in Africa: Implications for Inclusion and Industrialization 23.03.2019 Whilst the digital economy is being felt across the continent, there exists a substantial digital divide between African countries and the rest of the world. This presents challenges for the African continent that will need to be addressed in a way that is consistent with inclusion, transparency, people-centred governance and the attainment of human rights.
