Trade and Development 2021 Media Center Climate meets Trade – Trade needs Climate 14.10.2021 Supporting the Trade and Environmental Sustainability Structured Discussions at the WTO Upgrade, update and accelerate! The international community needs to respond to challenges at the intersection between trade and sustainability, both environmental and social. The Trade and Environmental Sustainability Structured Discussions (TESSD) at the WTO are among the most promising avenues for doing so. QUNO and FES Geneva are partnering to provide targeted, high-value support to WTO Members in the TESSD and related contexts, through research, advice, and discussion, including in the form of off-the-record facilitative meetings.
