Event Trade and Development 2024 LDC-Journalists at WTO MC13 26.02.2024 The rules-based multilateral trading system plays a crucial role in helping least-developed countries further integrate into the global economy. This is why FES and WTO are providing selected journalists from these countries the opportunity to participate in ministerial conferences, which are the WTO's top decision-making body. During the WTO’s 13th Ministerial Conference, the journalists will be able to report directly from the spot, and interview participating ministers, including those from their respective governments. The journalists are from the following countries: Bangladesh, Benin, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Mozambique, Nepal, Rwanda, Tanzania, Togo, Uganda and Zambia. Participation by invitation only.
