It will take addressing fundamental enablers so that women, men and youth can benefit from entrepreneurial activity and from trade’s impact on their communities. Central to this is investment in productive capacities such as infrastructure, finance, energy, skills, policies, laws, regulations, and in people. This side-event was jointly organized by UNCTAD Regional Office for Africa, EIF, trapca and FES Geneva. Panellists included inter alia Mukhisa Kituyi, Secretary-General, UNCTAD, H.E.
